The contact with the ground is harsh, sure, but harsher is her own embarrassment. She feels flush from it - and fever, perhaps - as he kneels down next to her. Ah, she was trying so hard to not make a scene. Too late for that, she supposes, which- It's fine! She's fine. Everything will be fine.

Right?

"Yeah," she says, sitting back up as quickly as she can. That's a mistake though, actually, since her head spins a little as she does. The woman realizes her back aches and not just from the fall too. "Just dumb... dragon-bond changes, I'm sure."

Cloud can certainly agree the dragon nonsense is dumb- he can't stand it, actually, and has managed to block out the newest extra voice in his head for as long as he could, much to the dragon's dismay. At this point he's managed to get emotions and single words through. Cloud still ignores it all. At least the side in his mind. Physical stuff is a lot harder to ignore, like the horns growing out of his hair, or the way his teeth have slowly sharpened into razor points. Every day, something new hurts, including things the merc never thought could hurt, or even existed before then. His brow knits, and he decides to kneel down instead of forcing the dizzy woman to stand up too fast.

"Easy to say," she sighs, "but less easy to follow through on, unfortunately." She's got a life to live! Things to do! Not... people to see, actually, but she wishes that were the case more than it is! Regardless, she isn't the type to slow down much and never has been.

"I think my body might be making me stop for at least a little bit though." She wants to fight it, of course, but as she sits here dazed and nauseous- Yeah. It probably isn't a good idea to push herself too much. "My dragon is at least being nice about it where she can, but this still sucks."
