"My magic resistance is actually weaker than most," Dimitri laments briefly. Although not surprising given his aptitude was for physical strength, it is still an unfortunately exploitable weakness many try to exploit. He makes up for it though by the fact that once mages get into melee range: it's over for them.

"Oh, yes, that's how it manifests. A flash of light, usually, to signify the activation of the Crest's inherent abilities. Fascinating that our worlds are so different yet similar in some ways." He's finding that a lot, actually, between many worlds, there are so many unexpected common links.

"I suppose the only advice I could give is to keep trying to find what triggers it and how to use that appropriately. Mine, for example, definitely happens more when I'm a bit more emotionally-driven."
