Dimitri isn't someone that Elidibus comes across until later in the evening. Under the pale moonlight causing the snow's surface to shimmer, the splatters of blood are that much more dramatic. Perhaps even more dramatic still is the forceful cry of the blond man as he pierces one of those scurrying brains through with his spear.

The initial squelch and spray of blood doesn't even give him pause though. He knows enough now to have his next step ready, which is: He tosses the spear harshly forward into a mound of snow. The flash of his crest signifies the activation of his superhuman strength and thus the spear splinters from the force impact. Seconds later, the creature also explodes but Dimitri is thankfully just out of range of the psonic wave.

Puffs of breath are visible as he pants from the effort and wipes a bit of blood from his chin with his thumb. So focused was he in his mission that he only now notices he's not alone.
