It's... nice to hear his thoughts about it validated. While Dimitri doesn't pretend to be above his station, as it were, he does try and consider life beyond himself still. As king, he knows that he will not only be serving his nation now but helping usher it forward into a better future. At least, he hopes that he is. Sometimes, he doubts how much he may be able to accomplish.

"I hope so, too. For either, I suppose. O-obviously I want places beyond our reach thus far to be doing alright! Yet, if they aren't- Perhaps that's a reason, or one of them, that we were called here? To help." He likes that idea, maybe. He wants it to be true. While he worries about his own home still, the idea of being able to help another beyond is something of legends he never thought he'd have a chance to take part in.
