It's probably for the best he doesn't question, honestly, even if she would have explained (and probably to his embarrassment). Scattered as she is anyway, she does kind of follow her thoughts as they bounce around now. It's only the touch to her elbow and nudge in a different direction than the one she was headed that sees her realizing, right, she isn't alone.
Part of her had expected him to just leave, admittedly. Not that she doubted him, just- That's the way these things tend to go. (If she wasn't of any use, then why stick around?) Even living with Charlie, she tended to be independent and left to her own devices more than she didn't. "I am... obviously not very good at doing that," she answers, but does let him lead her back towards her bedroom with minimal fuss besides.
"I also can't ask you to, like, bring me stuff! Bringing me here was already a lot."
