Rosie might be a bit stupid, but she's not completely unaware. Reading people was her job, in a way, so she notices that quick shift in tone despite his initial claim. It may be an old name but not necessarily one associated with pride. At least, not anymore. Maybe once upon a time, which makes her wonder what happened but she won't pry about that right now.

"My house is the one with flowers painted on the windows," she says, realizing he probably needs more direction than just a cardinal one. "And the pink curtains.
