This is enough like the last time he nearly got killed that he can practically feel Zaboera's gross claws sinking into the back of his neck again. He touches his cheek and flinches. It's a different kind of poison, he can move this time. It feels weaker, more surface damage than something crawling around in his blood? He hates that he can tell the difference between poison experiences, some people go their whole lives without being poisoned even once! Was it really an accident, is this a ploy to finish him off?

He's trying to sound angry, which he is, but his voice is cracking underneath it. Even if she is some kind of demon, what's he going to do, attack someone who looks exactly like a crying woman that he rather likes?! That's impossible; if this is a trick it's a really awful one.
