Elidibus has, in fact, done many dumb things despite his godly powers. While some who know him might attribute that to his friendship with Azem, that would be not entirely correct, he's got his own brand of mischievous energy carried deep within. Hiding it is part of the game. A quite enjoyable part.

Both are valid options, as far as Elidibus is concerned.
