"Regardless of your role in this, I doubt you could have predicted such an outcome." Regis responds with a slight sigh. "Therefore, be kind to yourself and do not blame anyone, including yourself."

The Faeries are not known for being outright antagonistic, but they do enjoy telling riddles. While they may have warned the young man not to go too far, they most likely did not fully explain what dangers lurked here. Nonetheless, Regis is not going to leave this poor man to ruminate in the darkness. He needs to return him to the others.

β€œThere’s no need to thank me.” Regis replies with a smile. "I just hope you will feel better in due time." He was about to stand when a sharp shot of pain raced up his right leg. The old king gasps in pain.

β€œAh, that stupid knee—” Of all the times for his ailing knee to start bothering him again. Regis can’t help but sigh.
