He chortles again and holds his fingers up in big circles around his eyes, like glasses. It's possible that he's spent some time looking at bugs close up because he's a lazy village boy who likes dozing around in the grass on a nice summer day. It's also possible that he apprenticed under some dweeb who could and would snag a cool dragonfly out of the air to make a point about instincts and reaction time. It is a mystery, who's to say.
