He has so many issues they probably count as a subscription model at this point. At least it would mean Popp specifically isn't a problem, and none of it is exactly about Popp himself. His ongoing annoyance with magic as a general catch-all is lifelong and inherited and one day someone's going to point that out and give him serious problems.

"Then formulate your arguments better." It's not the first time Sephiroth's been accused of elitism. It was true, in certain very specific areas. He absolutely was better than everyone else, in some specific ways. Every other way.. not so much. "Try again."

As Popp works on freeing his captured hand, Sephiroth lets go. It's deliberate when he does so not as Popp is pulling but when there's any moment of relaxation; it would be a shame for buns to fall over such a thing. "Why do you call it magic instead of one of countless other mundane possibilities? It's a bun, not a materia."
