The asset shifts uncomfortably from foot to foot a couple times, just a subtle fidget. He's not sure it's a good idea. He has no idea what he's doing. He'll mess it up and then get punished.

Nevermind that no one has actually punished him for anything since his escape from HYDRA in his own world. It's still ingrained in him to expect it.
