"And the Weapons in your timeline are active already...they didn't awaken in my timeline until Jenova acquired the Black Materia. What threat to the planet can they sense in your world that would awaken them earlier?"

He shakes his head. "But perhaps...that is something best left talked about later. You say you almost killed Tifa; in my own timeline, it was Aerith. Though as far as I can recall, you only moved to strike, and were brought to your senses on those occasions before you could." He lapses into troubled silence for a few moments.

"I think to explain what is happening to you, and why, how you could be moved to hurt people you have no wish to hurt...I will need to begin to share some of the truths I know with you.
